Our Accommodation

Rooted In Dartmoor
For generations, travellers have crossed the ancient landscapes of Dartmoor. Today, The Dartmoor Inn continues that tradition, offering a place to pause, dine and stay.
Fire sits at the heart of our kitchen. Grass-fed Devon beef, fresh fish from Brixham and the best seasonal produce are cooked over our signature Ox Grill, creating dishes that celebrate the landscape around us.
Whether you’re exploring the moor, celebrating with family or escaping for a few quiet days, we look forward to welcoming you.
Fire Cooking
Every steak, every piece of fish and every seasonal special begins over fire. Our bespoke Ox Grill allows our chefs to cook with precision while bringing out the natural flavour of exceptional local produce.

What Our Guests Say
Discover why guests return for our fire-grilled food and warm hospitality

“Our menu is a reflection of my fondest memories, the flavours that shaped my childhood and the farming that’s been part of my life since school. I ran a butchery for 20 years too, so the meat has always mattered. At its core, our food is a celebration of heritage and the richness of the land.”
